About Us
Steve Goldbloom graduated from Babson College in 1980 with a degree in Finance. As a licensed professional and father of two, in 2005 he opened AGT Tax and Insurance Services West headquartered in Renton, Washington.
Steve compiled the team at AGT Tax & Insurance Services West (Attorneys, CPA's, enrolled agents, securities licensed advisors, etc) to serve his clients. He works independently of any financial institutions so he can remain 'neutral.'
He is passionately committed to helping those approaching or in retirement, by focusing on wealth preservation. To achieve this, Steve uses a blended approach of financial solutions to reduce all types of taxes, and increase or maintain net worth, while making individuals or families lifestyles enjoyable. Currently, he and his team have helped over 200 families meet their unique and sometimes similar financial goals, all focusing on wealth preservation as a part of their strategy.
Steve is a devoted father to Sam(13) and Zoe(10). Shortly after Zoe was adopted in 2001, he made a career change in order to eliminate air travel as a regular part of his life, which allowed focus on his children to be his primary goal. Steve met Eden in 2005 and after a 4 year courtship, they married in 2009. Eden has two sons, Anthony- a recent Western Grad, and Christopher-14. They are now a unique and close-knit blended family.
He is involved in helping the community through contribution of time and money to charities and families in need. He regularly contributes as a school volunteer, to his place of worship, the United Way King County, and Free the Children, among other numerous and worthwhile charities.
Previously, Steve was recognized over a 20-year period, of which he played an integral part in helping shape the barter industry through his involvement with the International Reciprocal Trade Association (IRTA).
For these efforts, Steve earned a spot in the IRTA's Hall of Fame as one of the youngest members inducted, with recognition from national television including CBS Evening News with Dan Rather and Ross McGowan of Mornings on Two (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-Xb8XsXMcs). He has also been featured in many periodicals including the San Francisco Chronicle, Nations Business, San Francisco Business Times, radio interviews, and as a guest lecturer in the MBA program at the San Francisco School of Business among hundreds of other speaking engagements.
To sum it up, 100% of the clients at AGT Tax & Insurance Services West who followed Steve's recommendations have had no losses during this volatile economic period. And in fact, in areas where Steve has advised them, the clients have made money. It is because of this, that they are safe and sleeping at night during these uncertain times, knowing that they are preserving what they grew in prior better times.
